The vision of Ankara Anıttepe Rotaract Club is to strive for a world where we unite and take action to bring about lasting change – beginning within ourselves, extending to the societies we inhabit, and ultimately influencing the entire world.
MISSION
The mission of Ankara Anıttepe Rotaract Club is to contribute to social development, enhance friendships and fellowships, develop international acquaintances and promote peace, serve the local community, uphold openness and transparency, honor successful and exemplary professionals, and work with the ideal of 'service before self.' The club aims to increase friendships, support society in health, and combat poverty. It strives to collaborate with non-governmental organizations and official institutions for this purpose, promote high moral standards in business and professional life, and highlight the cultural, artistic, and historical values of the region while contributing to social development.
WHAT IS ROTARACT?
Rotaract is the world's largest youth organization, founded and supported by Rotary International. Rotaract, whose seeds were sown as the youth structure of Rotary in the 1920s, was officially established on March 13, 1968. It continues to work for the benefit of society and is also recognized by the United Nations. Its name is derived from the phrase 'Rotary in Action.' Since it is non-profit, it does not advertise. For this reason, it is an organization with low visibility but high validity in international media.
Rotaract clubs are supported by Rotary clubs that provide opportunities for young men and women to increase their members' knowledge and skills, helping them in their personal development, addressing the physical and social needs of their communities, and establishing better relationships between all people in the world within the framework of friendship and service. In Rotaract clubs, the development of services for social, international, and professional advancement is encouraged through individual and team work, while the personal and leadership development of young people is provided. In addition to improving the living conditions of others, Rotaract members also make a valuable contribution to their own lives by establishing strong friendships that will last for many years with individuals who share similar goals and ideals.
